Sambutan Hari Keselamatan Pesakit Sedunia Peringkat HOSHAS 2025

Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital (HoSHAS) has successfully organized the World Patient Safety Day 2025 Celebration on 29 September 2025, Monday, located at the HoSHAS Main Lobby, starting at 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.

The celebration was organized in collaboration with the Patient Safety Committee, the Department of Pediatrics and the School of Internal Hospital. The hospital-level celebration lifted the WHO theme “Safe Care For Every Newborn And Every Child” with the slogan “Patient Safety From The Start!”. The officiating of the celebration was completed by Hospital Director Dr Hajjah Nor Azlina binti Abd Aziz.

Among the main fillings of the celebration:
- Talk by a Pediatrician
- Blood Donation Program
- Patient Safety Exhibition and Patient Safety based on Patient Safety Goals
- Interactive activities with children
- Certificate of Appreciation to the Ward Concerned for Fall which is the ward that reported the most incidents of fall for the period January to June 2025 besides being the most actively carrying out improvement.

The organization is to achieve the objective of raising awareness about the importance of patient safety, particularly infants and children from the very beginning of life.
